Hello everyone. I just had my first return request. The buyer said I was misleading with my item. I had several pictures showing the item. The seller took pictures showing why they wanted the return. The issue were in my pictures as well. I just started eBay this year. Needless to say I am crying right now. I take pride in what I sell and ship. I'm worried about a bad review and that I failed my Daddy who passed away. He used to sell on eBay too. It took me years to get the courage up to sell. Now I am thinking of quitting eBay. Have any of you have this to happen to you?

Anyone who has sold here for more than a moment has had this happen to them. It is just part of selling online. Just accept the return request and decide if you want to pay for return shipping or just let the buyer keep the item. As long as you accept the return, you should not need to worry about receiving negative feedback.
Here is some advice. Your listings say you do not accept returns. As you have now learned, that does not mean you never need to accept a return. In fact, by not accepting returns you will find that some buyers will make false claims just to force the return. Do yourself a favor and accept returns. That way an honest buyer will have the option to return an item and you can have them pay for the return. It won't stop all dishonest buyers, but it will help.
Good luck and come back if you have any questions about the return.
