Firepit has corroded after using it twice

Hi

I have used my firepit twice and it has now corroded. The cost of the firepit was £130 and the seller offered me £6 then £10 compensation. It is not fit for purpose. Now they will not communicate with me. 

The seller is; https: https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/ukuniversal365  I definetely would not recommend them as the communication has been unproffessional. Has anyone any tips?
