Figure broken right out of the bix

I bought a figure and when I opened the box to look at the figure for the first time the legs fell off. At first it didn’t bother me because the figure is made to split apart. After looking at it for a while longer I realized that the pieces that hook the legs to the waste were broken as was the waste itself. I looked further in the box and found a little bag with one of the broken pieces on it.  I contacted the seller and he said he would contact the company and get replacement parts. Not really happy with that rather not have to rebuild something I just bought but what am I to do?
