Fake buyers

Hello,

I'm new to ebay.  I had two items for sale and each received a full-purchase price offer.  Both buyers had just signed  up for ebay today.  One buyer was labeled as "No longer a registered user"  almost immediately after agreeing to purchase my item.  This buyer asked me through my private email if I'd mail the item to her daughter and include a $400 gift card and she'd pay me through paypal. The other buyer has made no further comment and has not made a payment. How do I avoid these fake buyers from making my items look sold when they are not.

New Sellers are targets for Scammers.  I suggest you turn off Best offer and check the Immediate payment required on your listings.  Never text anyone or call them, add those IDs to your Blocked Buyer list, ignore and delete further messages from them.  The link below will help.
