So I bought some airpods from a seller with a good rating on ebay, I take them to an apple store a couple months after purchase and they tell me they are fake. Ebay claims they will not give me a refund since it's out of the window of 30 days. I had no clue the air pods were fake, If I would have known sooner, I would have returned them sooner. Now trying to get this fixed through ebay has been a nightmare, the ebay helpers have just gotten worse, they have been unprofessional, and claim they would give me the the money back in 10 business days and it's been a month now, I had them call me, and now claim they won't refund me, and they have no record I even put a claim in, I've wasted 8 hours on these fake airpods, Is there anyone who is competent I can call or deal with?

It’s too late to do anything through eBay. They won’t bend on the 30 days.
BUT . . . If you paid with PayPal, they allow 180 days to open a case. If you didn’t use PayPal, contact your credit card company about a chargeback. (You might want to contact the seller before doing the chargeback. They will get hit with fees for that, and might refund voluntarily if they know that’s your last resort).
