Explain open box

That means the box the item came in was opening and the item was removed. It is no longer factory-sealed. A few reasons for this might be that the item was used on a display, the item was removed from the box and the customer decided it wasn't what they wanted, the item was removed to test whether it is working.

This option should only be used for new items, never used (except possibly for testing), and is expected to be fully functional.

Explain open box

Open box: The item is in excellent, new condition with no wear. The item may be missing the original packaging or protective wrapping, or it may be in the original packaging but not sealed. The item includes original accessories. The item may be a factory second. See the seller's listing for full details and a description.
