Error code 429

I’m experiencing error code 429 when I login the app. It’s strange. I would be logged in normally in the app, then when I go to the payments section and check the balance and stuff it makes me re login, I then try to and get error 429 I have £118 in my account I am concerned and need help please

This is volunteer help.  We do not know what the error codes mean.  The usual advice the eBay CS app team suggests to try is remove the app, RESTART your phone, reinstall the app.

( If you receive the automated chat assistant type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the right department)

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 10:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 6:00pm

I have deleted and re downloaded my app with the same error message each time. I can login on the web browser Aka on safari on my phone but not the app.  Everytime I go to login it just says “something went wrong: 429”
