Ein instead ssn

I'm owning an LLC in US and I'm not a US resident , when i want to create a business account eBay is asking me for EIN ( already having it ) and asking me also for SSN or TIN, can i use my EIN instead SSN, currently I'm selling in other marketplaces without any problem and I'm paying my taxes on a yearly basis . Normally other Marketplaces are asking for EIN. Thank you

Your EIN is used to report your payment transactions for taxes.  However someone's name and SSN/TIN is also required to confirm the identity of the officer/owner/agent/contact person responsible for the business, even though not used for tax purposes.
