When I “sell a similar item”, is there any way to modify or delete the “seller note” in the listing for the new (similar) item? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When creating the “new” or “similar” item, I am easily able to edit a book’s title, condition, and so on, but I can’t determine where I need to go to change (or in this case, delete) this comment.
@bakers_dozen_books I haven't heard back from you. Are you referring to the item specifics section? This is what comes after the condition box and you can edit it from what the Sell One like this listing had.
Are you using the app or a PC?

@bakers_dozen_books You change the seller note on the active listings page>
https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active Select add/ edit note from the drop down menu next to the item
Your other option is to use SKU's
Here are two options on adding custom skus>
OPTION 1 >>>
You need to use the Advanced Listing Tool that is located in Seller Hub to add a Sku to the listing when you are creating it. You can only access this listing tool on a computer.
Here's to access the Advanced Listing Tool:
You will know you are using the Advanced Listing Tool when you see the option to add a short video in the photo section.
Sign up for Seller Hub while working from your computer to create your listing using the new listing tool.
To access Seller Hub:
1. Go to https://www.ebay.com/sh/landing
2. Click Start Using Seller Hub
3. Open your Draft here: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/drafts
4. To create a new listing go to your active listings page:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active and click the blue Create listing button near the top, right-hand side of the page.
5.In the Title field on the listing form, click See title options (small menu icon) located on the right-hand side of the field.
A pop-up overlay should open where you will be able to toggle the switch on for entering a Custom Label (SKU). The box for entering your SKU will then be available on the listing form, just below the Title box.
OPTION 2>>>
Seller Hub Active Listings Page:
1. Go here to your active listings page: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
2.. Click Customize table on the right-hand side above the listings table
3. Check the box to add the SKU field to your list of listings
4. Next, scroll down to your item, hover over the SKU area, and use the Pencil to edit the SKU field.
The advantage of SKU's over Notes is that you can search active listings by the SKU. Sku's are usually used for inventory management to tell a seller where the item is stored.

Thank you so much for your quick and detailed response!
I tried going through the active listing page and it didn’t work. Perhaps I did something wrong; I may try again.
The SKU idea sounds interesting and promising. I will probably try that.
Thanks again!

I guess I was using the wrong terminology (sorry!). It is not the note to seller that I am concerned about… it is the note/comment that shows up in the listing, immediately below the condition of the item.
When creating the “new” or “similar” item, I am easily able to edit a book’s title, condition, and so on, but I can’t determine where I need to go to change (or in this case, delete) this comment.

Are you referring to item specifics ?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I was referring to the “Seller Notes” that is part of the “Condition” section. When I was using the app, this didn’t appear (or I missed it). However, when I went through the web and used the Seller Hub, it did appear and I was able to make the needed change.
Thank you again for your assistance - you were quite helpful!
