Ebay suddenly moved me to a new account, I've lost 15 years of history. Claim they can't restore.

That's their story,  I spent over an hour with their 'advanced tech',  I am now much more expert in distinguishing ducks from turtles,  starfish from ... whatever,  was finally disconnected by Ebay.   And,  somewhere along the way,  my password was changed,  as I don't have it I can't change it to another.  I'm guessing this isn't unique.  Among other things,  items I've paid for haven't arrived,  I can't contact the shipper to see why they haven't.   Help,  please!

You can reset your password here as long as you have access to the phone or email linked to your eBay account:

When was the last time you used your original eBay account? If recently, you should still be able to use it. Even if you accidentally closed the account, you should still have at least two weeks to change your mind and reopen it if you contact eBay soon enough and if you know the username associated with the account and other details.
