Ebay not supporting buyer

I purchased an item in september for $600 - it's a signed collectible. I sent it on my own dime to be authenticated. I received in back 2 weeks ago, it failed. I tried to contact the seller, no response. I contacted Ebay, they gave me the precise words to send to the seller, and requested I contact them back. Now, after no response still, they tell me there's nothing I can do since it's outside the window, to keep trying to contact the seller. This was after they "thanked" me for being a member since 1997. Tick tock, the time is almost up on ebay for me
