Ebay has been incorrectly charging me sales tax and I'm having trouble getting reimbursed

I found out after making some purchases that ebay has been incorrectly charging me sales tax on purchases that are not taxed in my state. I went on a chat and submitted the link to my state's tax site where it was documented that these items were not taxed. After a couple weeks I received a notice from PayPal that eBay submitted a refund to me. There no accompaning email or note. I don't know the dates of the orders that received a refund. Or the order numbers. Despite calling and asking several times no one can tell me. I'm told the tax team is unreachable and only via messages.

I called back as I had purchases after that call I made easier that could not have been included. There were maybe 50 additional purchases, and I received a refund for 3.  I have called weekly since late November with no additional refunds. I'm told to wait 48 to 72 hours and I wait one week and call back. 

Does anyone know what I need to do to receive refunds from ebay for this sales tax? Every time I call I need to go through the whole explanation and explain I don't need to file for a tax exemption. As a resident of my state, I do not need to pay this sales tax. I don't pay it at stores here, etsy, any other online store.

I would ask customer service by posting a private message on social media.They can look up your previous conversations with CS, and direct your inquiry to the tax folks.

So I have gotten multiple different messages and approaches from different customer service people. It's getting very frustrating at this point. I went to fb and that person told me completely different information than the person on the chat was. They fb person did not forward my message anywhere.

What types of items are you purchasing that you are being charged sales tax on?  I know that some states do not charge sales tax on clothing.  Therefore, if the item is listed in a Clothing/Shoes/Accessories category, ebay will not charge sales tax if the items are being shipped to that state.  However, sales tax will be charged on clothing items if they are listed, for example, in Sporting Goods > Clothing > Jackets.  It's the way ebay has tagged those categories, much like media mail shipping is only available if listed in a BOOKS category, but not a subcategory of Crafts, for example.
