Ebay estimated shipping times

I'm very disappointed in Ebay shipping estimated times. The item I bid on had an estimated shipping time of 3 to 4 days. It's arriving in 7 days. It's going to be too late for me to give to my granddaughter as I'm leaving early on the 7 day.  I'm a first-time buyer and this has turned me off on this bidding site. I'll never use Ebay again.

The estimated delivery date comes from the carrier's transit time plus the seller's handling time. You'll receive your item by that date unless something unusual happens (for example, the package is lost or there are weather delays, a misrouting, etc.) OR the seller doesn't ship within his handling time.

This is not something to blame on eBay.
