EBay took payment automatically before combined shipping

I won 6 items from one seller. 
I messaged the seller and asked for combine shipping. 
They messages back stating they were out and would send it in the morning.

an hour later eBay took the payment out my bank account automatically so no combined shipping applied.

i asked the seller and they contacted eBay, apparently eBay have told her it's nothing on her account and I need to contact eBay, I find this hard to believe I've never had this happen before and I shop alot of eBay.
I cannot get hold of eBay as I cannot talk on the phone and the live chat just keeps saying no one's available (really good for those with impairments isn't it!)

so now I've paid over £20 for shipping on 6 items.  

what the hell is going on?

After the seller prints the label for combined shipping, s/he can send a partial refund for the discount.
