I would like to open my listings to international buyers but hesitant to do so because of hassles associated with shipping out of the United States.
Any pros / cons of using EBay’s global shipping program?

@toptec1-3 First I want to clarify that the eBay International Shipping Program has replaced the Global Shipping Program.
The EIS is a MUCH better program than the old Global Shipping Program with no downsides for a seller.
eBay International Shipping Program allows you to reach buyers around the world with ZERO risk to you. You just ship to the US forwarding center in Illinois or CA, the address will be on the label when you print it with a code that ties the sale to you and the buyer.
Once the item reaches the US forwarding location safely your job as a seller is done. If a buyer files a refund request for ANY reason the refund comes from eBay and you keep the sale. I wish that eBay had this awesome of seller protections for domestic sales!

If your account is eligible for the EIS program then you are automatically opted in. There is no longer an OPT in option for sellers. Sellers can however OPT OUT.
