My store is based out of Oregon and we don't have a sales tax. So when a buyer from a state that has sales tax purchases something I have to pay sales tax on the product. Even though eBay already charges the buyer the required tax applicable to the buyers state. So these items are getting taxed twice. Is there an easy way for me to not pay sales tax to my supplier for these purchases? When I purchase products and have them sent to me I don't have to pay sales tax. I am striking out everywhere I look for information. Thank you for any help.

This sounds like an issue that is best resolved between you and your drop shipping company. ebay doesn’t have anything to do with what your supplier is charging you.

Another good reason not to get involved with drop-shipping.

This might not be effortless enough to suit you, and the document itself says it isn't 100% effective, but this is what I found.

If this doesn't do what you need, you might check other exemption(s) that Oregon provides to resellers. An attorney could possibly help you with that but paying for legal advice probably woulldn't be cost effective for you.
