Dramatic sales decrease after scheduling a bunch of new listings

Please Help!

I have been selling my items (bras) since the beginning of this year, and they've been selling well. This year, I was able to finally understand how the algorithm works. Whenever I listed 3 items, I sold 3 items. When I listed 7 items, I sold 7. I worked really hard to maintain 10 items a day, but I would get in at least 5 or 6 a day. For some reason about a week ago, my sales suddenly stopped. I noticed this happened after I added another item (slightly different category). I sell bras, but I added panties into the mix. I scheduled about 60 panties for the week, then suddenly my bra sales just stopped. It seems I don't understand the algorithm the way I thought. When women buy bras, they also want to buy panties, seems natural to me as that is what I do. I scheduled so many panties because they're easier, and because I was prepping more bras. It seems that ebay is telling me that I can and should just stick to bras. Can anyone help me understand the sudden and drastic drop in sales since adding the new related category?

Exactly how the algorithms work are a mystery.  Perhaps you could try listing 1 to 1 on bras and panties ... do a bra then a panties listing, repeat, repeat, etc.

Re: Dramatic sales decrease after scheduling a bunch of new listings

Thank you for getting back so quickly! I spoke to 2 reps, one yesterday and one today. The one yesterday told me that he was submitting a ticket to the "data team " to check my algorithm because "it seems the panties are impacting your sales".  The one today suggested I delete all the panties and check back after the 15th. Apparently, my store is in service review phase (all stores are), and that that phase ends on the 15th. I'll dig around.
