Dispute about eBay authentication

My vintage shoe listing recently failed eBay authentication. I have collected and sold vintage Nike shoes for over 30 years. My item number is 235311027036. The exact same model is currently listed on eBay as item number 185228799231. You can easily compare the shoes and tell they are the same model. Vintage shoes of this age cannot be faked like recently released reproductions. I’ve re-listed my item. What can be done to keep this from failing authentication again? This is very frustrating!

Dispute about eBay authentication

@wdburns1  As a fellow seller I know this is frustrating.

If they failed once they are 99% likely to fail again.  I wouldn't risk my account.

I would sell them elsewhere.   The authentication process while not perfect has really cut down on fakes and also on sellers being scammed by having a different item returned to them.
