Discount code along with accepted offer

I made an offer and included in my offer a message that said I would buy as long as the offer was accepted and ebay would let me use toe discount code as well.. The seller which is a company accepted my offer and when I went to the checkout to apply the code Ebay wouldn't accept it. Said code was expired.  So I went back to the listing and screen shot where the listing still said it had a discount code. I contacted the seller with those images and haven't received a reply. But ebay is sending me notifications saying pay now... Help...

Discount codes and coupons  can not be used with best offer - you have to read the terms/conditions of the coupon or code. This is something the seller has no control over.  You also can not attach conditions to your best offer.
