Delete Trash bin with messages??

How do I  permanently delete Trash bin with messages??

I have 18 months of TRASH in my trash bin and I haven't found a way to permanently delete it!

That is not a user function. In time eBay will remove them.

Only eBay can empty the Trash.  Sorry.

Your messages are stored on eBay servers - you merely have a view into them. You cannot remove them. Just don't look in your Trash folder if it bothers you.

From this Cat lover, Thanks!  It bothers me as all those trashed emails can not be deleted on my end....Not a user friendly option. Question answered.

I believe that eBay takes charge of deleting Messages because they (obviously) involve two people … and one may need a message as ‘evidence’ if there’s disagreement about what was said about a purchase/sale down the road.  They’re usually deleted after about 6 months.

More useful news from a "Visionary" who has experience. I'm a puny buyer so don't carry ANY weight with the higher up suits of eBay but there needs to be a forever delete option....I'll look again in 12 months to see if all the trash has been trashed.
