Delay Shipping

I have a buyer that purchased an item I was selling and then sent a message asking to delay shipping for a week and a half because he is out of town. If I purchase the shipping label through Ebay and hold the package will the shipping label expire in a week in a half?

Your purchase label will expire the next day.  The post office doesn't like stale dated labels.  Your buyer should have filed a Vacation hold with the post office so they will hold all packages and mail while he is away.  If you have a habit of shipping on time, one delayed shipping won't hurt your metrics.
