Customs/Import charges

I'd like to find out the customs/import fees before purchasing an item coming from Japan. Seller only knows shipping cost via FedEx International. Where to look for? Thanks.

@bologna7*  There are not any US customs charges unless the item is over $800.   

eBay will still be required to collect and remit sales tax, if your state charges sales tax.

@bologna7*    you'll need to go to the US customs site.  Since eBay isn't handling the charges they don't have a calculator for this.
