Creating a shipping label does not = it's on it's way

So I have experienced purchasing an item, the sell creates a shipping label then sits on it for days. But because a shipping label was created ebay shows it was sold and shipped. And if that happened on a Thur. or Friday that may mean a delay in shipping of up to 5 days. I just went through this. I bought a battery on Friday, contacted seller, asked if they could possible ship it right away and they said it would go out that day. So I checked later that day sure enough a shipping label was created and ebay says it has been shipped. But when I checked the USPS site and status is  " awaiting  package " . It's like seller don't realize we can track a package from start to finish.

Unfortunately, ebay has been using that same statement for years that a package has shipped when a label is printed.  Sellers have been asking for years to please change that statement, but it falls on deaf ears.  The next time you see "Tell us what you think" on any related shipping screen, click on it and let ebay know what you think about that statement.

I only print the shipping labels the morning I plan to ship to avoid any problems with buyers.
