Why is it so god awfully difficult to create a listing, I mean really, if thats not bad enough, getting help or support with an actual individual is nonexistent. This just doesn't work for me anymore.

What part(s) of creating the listing are you having trouble with?

Every part, I have no need for any help in regards to wording, shipping, billing etc. It is an endlessly abyss of prompts, theres a template feature which if your list items of a similar nature may be of help, but if your not, it near useless.
The last thing I need additional help with is shipping, this particular area is just plain confusing, I don't any help with shipping and if I did, this would be the last feature ebay offers as it just is confusing.
The last thing is getting help, it just doesn't exist on this site. What is offered is a like having your teeth extracted with pliers, its the artificially created help that looks for specific words in order to direct you to finding something you can't explain let alone do. It's like having a treasure map with no X marking the spot to find the treasure, what is the point. It would be a smidge more productive to actually converse with an actual human being, but what do I know. I mean really, know I know why everybody's using FB mrkt place, which I'm inclined to start doing myself.

Saying "Every part" is a little too broad. And when you say you don't need help with wording or billing, and you don't need help with shipping (you said that three times, but you also say this part is confusing), I really don't know what to try to help you with.
What is the first specific part of the listing form you need help with?

If the items you are selling weigh 4 oz or more, then select USPS Ground Advantage. You will then need to enter the weight and dimensions of the packaged item. Calculated shipping will show the buyer the shipping cost from your zip code to the buyer's zip code. If the packaged item weighs 2# or more, you can add USPS Priority as an additional shipping option. Priority supplies can be obtained from your local post office. They are only to be used for priority shipping.

You'll have to forgive me for being so......animated. But jeez, I had at least 5 return prompts (2 for description, 2 for shipping, 1 for start time) for area's that required what I considered duplicate entries (description) or in the case of shipping, no simple way to just by pass it. I spend at least 45 minutes trying to decipher what was missing, it's not like your prompted with a highlighted area to fill in, just a msg that an area was not complete like, description and or shipping.
I spent over an hour and 1/2 one Sunday this summer creating 3 entries that had my head spinning, because every time I thought I was done, I'd get a return prompt to fill out another line for the description or to choose a shipping method, I literally just filled in empty lines until the system was satisfied. In the end, I had to tell each respective buyer that it was a free shipping auction, because I was unable to locate a prompt to choose 'free shipping '.
Try selling an auto part, like a rearview mirror, there were no less than 50 different areas requesting information about its description, size, color, model etc. It doesn't let you bypass any of it, so yeah, its frustrating.
This by far the most complicated site to do business on if for nothing more than just creating an auction entry. If someone can simplify the process or even help to educate me, I'm open for all of it, but as we all know here, getting help from a live person when you're creating an auction is not an option.

I have no need to use the shipping option that ebay offers, and when creating an auction, I was unable to find anyway to opt out of ebays shipping process. I already have a shipping program.

For shipping, you need to select a class of service as that is something a buyer considers when making a purchase. Once you do, you can check the box to offer free shipping. For example:
The reason you enter the weight and package dimensions is so, you you use calculated shipping, eBay can calculate the correct shipping cost based on buyer's location so they know how much it is.
You don't have to opt out of eBay shipping - you can purchase your labels anywhere you like. Just be sure to come back and enter the tracking # in the order details.

There are a lot of item specifics, but not all are required. I imagine in auto parts, there are quite a few that are required. If you want buyers to find you listing and buy it, you need to provide the information they need.

Ok, I'll make sure to look for that.
Thank you...

I know you are frustrated, but try to focus on communicating what you need in which fields so we can help. Provide heading and field name, and if you encounter a problem with entering the information, what error message do you get if any?
Mention the heading in the item listing that you're asking about using the eBay terms, not your own, so we can be sure what area you're asking about.
For example, I expect you're not having problems with the description as that is a free-form field. What you were asking about were the Item Specifics.
No one here can change the form. You just have to learn to use it. Once you do, it's pretty simple, but I know it took a little getting used to for most sellers. If you have to do this a little at a time, then approach it that way so it's not overwhelming to you. You can continue to save it as a draft and come back to it.
OK...where else in the listing form do you need help?

Well, in large part I'd have to agree, yet, its like dealing with me, I do better when I know better. Many people come to Ebay with little or no knowledge of what they are looking for or selling. I have no problem using it as a platform to browse, I have very little issues finding what I'm looking for. Ebay tries too hard to definitively categorize parts, its a part regardless of revisions, you either know what your looking for (part #'s) or you don't. Sellers aren't any better, putting in items with little to no knowledge of what it is, this where Ebay tries to fill in the gaps, giving people options to fill the blanks without understanding what they have. You see it every day, too much info, lots of it completely incorrect.

If its a issue with most sellers, its not the sellers, its the process.....
