Hello, I live in Turkey. I would like to buy a product from a seller based in the US via Global Shipping Program. However, my country is not listed amoung the countries eligible for Global Shipping Program. Who is responsible for that program in eBay and who can I contact ? Who can add Turkey to the list ? Thanks

Pitney Bowes is responsible for running the GSP. I do not know what criteria is used to decide which countries are included.
I went to USPS.COM to see how much it would cost to ship directly to Turkey. For a 4 pound package with a $50 item, the cost to ship via priority small flat rate box is $40.15, and for a regular priority box it is $63.85 . At those prices, isn't there any way for you to purchase the item, perhaps from a seller who lives closer to Turkey?

Thank you disneyshopper.
First of all, not all items listed on eBay are sold in Turkey. So, for some items, eBay is the only choice to buy.
Secondly, I shop regularly on Amazon. They ship to Turkey and with quite reasonable shipping costs. To give an example, they ship Dell XPS 13 to Turkey with Amazon Global Shipping for just 32$. Think about it.
And lastly, I want to be able to join auctions, the sellers of which are enrolled in GSP. When you win the auction, the final price might still be attractive, even after shipping cost and customs fee added.
Bulgaria and Greece, the neighbours of Turkey are listed in GSP. So why not Turkey ?
I will try to contact Pitney Bowes. Hope they hear me.
