Counterfeit Item

I purchased counterfeit Berkey water filters in December, of 2023.  The are still in the packaging they came in.  I recently learned that they are counterfeit from detailed information provided by the true manufacturer.  I messaged the seller, but they did not respond.  Do I have any recourse through eBay or PayPal, or do I have to take it up with my credit card company?

Ebay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee for Buyer Purchase Protection. Once it's been 30 since delivery, you are no longer covered by Ebay and they will not get involved.

Most payment companies have deadlines for their dispute processing. That is often six months or less.

Thank you for the information!  Fortunately, my credit card company gives me one year to file a dispute.  Posting this here in case anyone else is ever in a similar situation.  It is worth checking.
