Contacting a live person at ebay

I have attempted to verify a couple of charges on my debit card. The contact phone number that shows up is 408-376-6151. When I call the number I am told it is disconnected.

eBay doesn't provide a contact # so whatever you found when googling one is likely going to a scammer site.

If you have charges you don't recognize on your credit card, check your Purchase History. Also check your emails to see if you made any guest checkout purchases. If neither applies, your card number may have been obtained by a thief in which case you should call your credit card #. eBay can't help with that.

However, if you need to contact eBay, at the link below, you can request a call back from eBay by clicking Have us call you on the left side of the page. If you don't see that option, click Chat with our automated assistant. Then type "agent" at the bottom in the chat box. You'll see an option to request a call back there.

Have you contacted your bank?  Sometimes they can give more information on transactions.  I know that was the case when someone got our credit card number somehow.  The bank really helped us!
