Confusion about shipping status

I bought a copy of a book, the Facilities Management Handbook on Feb 14th, and found out it was "assigned a tracking number" on Feb 15th. However, since then, there have been no new status updates about it. When I check the USPS status, they say they haven't received the package yet.

I contacted the seller today, gave them the order number, and asked what the status was. Their reply was to ask for my order number, which I gave them again.

Since then, they will not answer any messages.

I can't get help from eBay, I can't get help from the USPS, and no one seems to know what to do. It just sits in limbo.

Does anyone have any insight?

Thanks so much!

Confusion about shipping status

Go to your purchase history and check the estimated date of delivery.  It this date hasn't passed, you must wait.  Once the date has passed and you don't have your item, you can open an item not received claim.  The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery with the tracking number or refund.  If not, on the 4th business day, you can ask eBay to step in and they will force a refund.

That being said, media mail is the slowest type of shipping.  It takes a while for delivery, especially if you are on the opposite coast of your seller.  No need to worry.
