The seller didn’t send the initial confirmation email for the item I paid for and my bank statement is showing that the money transaction was successful . I’ve checked my viewing & purchase history with no answers

If you can not find the item in your purchase history, you may have purchased while not logged (as a guest). Check here to see if you have a "guest" purchase history:

Yes it was processed as a guest but it’s not showing anything

Purchases made as a guest are separate from purchases made as a registered member. You will need to sign in with the email address you used as a guest along with the PASSCODE that ebay sent to you in an email. Then you can file a Returns Request.
