On my listing I checked calculated shipping. When the buyer got the invoice he was able to do free shipping. Is there a computer glitch. Can EBAY rectify this before it affects other auctions. Since I sell small items

@caneterzo Your most recent sold item does show free shipping.

However I did not check free shipping. It does not show up when I do sell similar item as shown in photo screen shot. Why did the buyer see free shipping when I did not even offer that option?Kind of strange that you saw free shipping!

@caneterzo When you use Seller Similar all the settings from the other listing are carried forward to yours. If that other item had Free Shipping turned on then you have to turn it off. And depending on how you Relist it might get turned back on after you turn it off. For example, if you do a Seller Similar then save it as a draft before listing it then its possible settings will revert to their original form when you go to work on it again.
If you are using the new listing tool then it is very possible this kind of thing happened.
Typically, a lot of these mistakes are the Sellers and not a glitch ...
Next time you do a Sell Similar double check it once it goes live to make sure it is how you want it.

At the bottom of that screen shot, you have "Offer free shipping" turned ON.
