Combine Shipment Credit Back

Hello. I'm new at the "combined shipping" option. I have a customer who has two separate orders. I combined the shipping to save the customer on shipping costs. Does the ebay system automatically credit the buyer back or am I supposed to figure out how to do that? I have seriously tried to understand any instructions I could find on how to do this, but I just don't get it. Please help!!! Thank you.

Combine Shipment Credit Back

No, Ebay will never do that as they don't know if you had other costs.  Heck sellers don't have to purchase their shipping on this site if they don't want.

You should refund the buyer for the overpayment.  I do this all the time.  I send a separate email to my buyers telling them that I'm doing that and how much I'm refunding.  Then I go and refund the amount.

Remember to keep enough money to cover your costs.  You have shipping supplies and Ebay fees to cover too.  Don't be shy about making sure you have your costs covered.
