Bought a roll of coins, less than 5 minutes later seller refunded my money so they say, and I didn’t get what I won the bid on. How is that possible ? And I won’t know if I get the money back until 5 days later ? What’s going on?

Only the seller can say why they cancelled - maybe they're skittish with a new account, or they didn't get the price they wanted, or whatever. 

eBay can't force them to sell, but they do get defects on their account for cancelling - just be sure they don't use "buyer requested" as the reason and blame it on you.

If ebay confirmed the cancel by email, you will be refunded, hopefully sooner than 5 days.
