Closing a Return Request and Reopening with a different Reason?

Hi,

I just requested a refund for a Jacket that I purchased; listed with no returns. The Jacket is nothing like the Brand and Make for the same. I have the exact same Jacket from the original store and they are very different. The Jacket's tags were also cut off ( It was listed as Tags attached).
I think that the Jacket is not Authentic and I opened a Return request with this option. The seller is now asking me to close this request and open another one with 'did not like the item'.

First, is it possible to close the return request and open another one for the same item?

Second, should I even consider changing the reason?

Thank you!

@sharp_23

No don't do it. If you close the Return you cannot open another.

They want you to change the reason because if you choose "did not like" that means buyer's remorse and you will have to pay return shipping, not the seller, or they can deny the return if they listed with "No returns", as "no returns" only applies to buyer's remorse.

Keep the return open, they will have to prepay return shipping or refund without a return.

They are really trying to stick it to you on this one.
