ebay and their STUPID updates and changes. They need to stop the foolishness. I have not been able to bid for two weeks now. NOW, I know why. Actually, I've known it all along. If they would stop updating and changing everything, problems simply wouldn't exist. This is ridiculous. Sad part?? They could care less they are loosing me as a customer. And I spent( past tense) a lot of money on here! I'm certain I am not the only customer I am loosing on here too.

They said to me" The Most Compatible Browser For Ebay Is The Chrome Browser" Hah! What happened to any browser the CUSTOMER has will work? What happened to the CUSTOMER is always right?? Guess that does not apply with ebay. Ok fine.

I use the Chrome browser and have no problems using ebay. If that was the problem there would be a LOT of posts complaining, and your post is the first one I have run across. Have you logged off, rebooted, and tried again? Do you have the latest version of Chrome?

There are many possible reasons why bidding might fail. Updates by eBay are a possible source of problems, but there are others including browser updates, add-on updates, operating system updates, and network issues.

There may be things you can do at your end to get around some problems.

Bidding may not work with some browsers, or some browser versions, or with some browser settings.

Try another browser as a test. Preferably the latest version of a popular browser with default settings and no add-ons enabled.

Another thing to try if you are experiencing problems bidding: try signing in to ebay.ca and place a bid on that site rather than ebay.com.

If you are having problems bidding or making offers but getting a blank popup window and you are using Adblocker Ultimate, try uninstalling that add-on -- simply disabling it may not be sufficient.

Another user having this sort of problem has indicated that uninstalling Adblocker Ultimate allowed bids to be placed once again.
