Checkout Error

I have placed 16 items in my shopping cart. When I go to checkout, this is the error message I get: "Sorry, we can't complete your checkout at this time. Please try changing your item quantity or check your account status."
I checked the item quantity and I don't see anything different from other times I have checked out this way. When I check my account status, It claims that I have an "Above Standard" rating and my account is current. I owe nothing from previous invoices.
Could someone explain what I should do?
