Checking Account ?

Must I have a checking account in order to sell?  If I don't have one, I'll never be able to sell anything?

That is correct - you must have a checking account.

I'm certainly not opening a checking account just to sell a few unused trinkets a couple times a year.

You don't already have a checking account?  You must be in the minority.  Many sellers use their household checking account for selling (I do), but many sellers open a separate checking account to keep their funds separate.
