Changing the country for my account

Hi all,

I used to reside in Canada and my buyer and seller profile was both set up there. after I moved to US I changed my address and country to US, however for receiving seller payment I am getting prompted to go to ebay.ca

is there any way I can change my profile to be US based? I suspect anyone who moves between countries is facing the same challenge. any help is appreciated

Because eBay is now handling payment processing, there are loads of legal obligations required by each country. That's why members can not simply move their seller accounts between countries. You'll probably need to open a new seller account on the US platform for your US address using your US bank account and US credentials, including tax ID.
