Cannot open an Ebay Store

I click create a store.

https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/selling

I click Select the Subscription the Subscription

https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/selling

On the page with the different plans, there is a red bar that says:

You do not have a valid payment method on file. Please add a valid payment method before choosing your subscription. Add Payment Method

https://www.ebay.com/sub/subscriptions

I click on Add Payment Method and get to a page that says:

Please Create a Seller's Account Before you sell on eBay, you'll need to open a seller's account for identification purposes. Create a seller's account at no charge. It's fast and easy. Click here to create a seller's account.

I click Click here to create a seller's account and end up here:

https://www.ebay.com/sl/sell?sr=

There is nothing helpful on this page

It’s an endless circle and quite maddening.

How do I resolve this?

Have you entered and verified your checking account to receive payments from selling?  That is what you need to do to ‘set up your seller account’.

Once your checking account is verified, you can subscribe to a store, but you might not want to.  eBay sets limits for new sellers and subscribing to a store does not override those limits.  Go to your selling homepage to find your personal selling limits.

A basic store subscription month to month is $28.  For this to save you $, you must be able to list more than about 330 items, or sell more than about $3,500 per month.

Cannot open an Ebay Store

Hi! Thank you for your reply. The problem ended up being that I had no current listings. That wasn't explained anywhere through the process, which caused for an endless loop of confusion.

Thank you for the advice! Will definitely be waiting to subscribe until the appropriate time.

Cheers and make it a great day!
