Canceling an unintentional bid

Hi

 I bought an item from a seller and a few days later, I noticed I was the highest bidder on another one of his listings. I did not bid on it...not intentionally that is. I tried contacting the seller,  he said he couldn’t cancel my bid and that I’d have to do it....he said it’s easy, gave me instructions but it didn’t work. The auction ends in 2 days.  I tried to cancel but I keep getting the run around...

please help...

Canceling an unintentional bid

While not obligated to do so, the seller certainly can cancel a bid.  Tell seller the option is in the drop down menu next to the item.

Buyers cannot cancel bids, only sellers can. They are not obligated to, but a good seller will do so.
