I purchased the same item from two different sellers but it was not intentional and I am new to buying on eBay. I only need one as it is the same exact eyeglass frame. But ebay took out my money already for both frames!! I need that money credited back to my account.
I have sent many texts to the seller and I tried to cancel the order immediately but it would not let me cancel it!
The second seller I need the order stopped and I asked him not to ship my item and to let eBay know I need a credit for this frame that I paid for twice.
The second seller has not responded to me either. I sent many many messages to let him know I do not need this frame and told him not to ship it. This way it will save him shipping costs, time and aggravation. He knows I made a mistake and I explained what happened but he has not responded at all!!
The first seller already shipped my item so I don’t need two of the same item! And I need my money credited.
I contacted eBay too. Asked them for their help. They said to keep trying to text the seller. And to wait until the item is supposed to be delivered. So far the second seller has NOT shipped my item. He is not answering any of my messages either.
How do I get my money back? And how do I get the seller to cancel this order and to stop shipping it to me?
I have been trying to get eBay involved.
They said to keep trying to contact the seller. To wait until 3/4 and then they will step in.
HELP.
How do I get the second seller to respond and to cancel this order and stop them from shipping it to me???
Should I put a stop payment on my bank?
This entire process is extremely confusing and complicated.
The first seller never let me know he accepted my counter offer so I assumed they did not! I got no email. Nothing from them saying they accepted my counter offer so I started looking at other sellers and bought the same item from the second seller. If I would have known from the first seller that they accepted my counteroffer I would have NEVER ordered the same frame from another seller!
This is not acceptable to me. eBay needs to make sure the seller responds asap that they accepted your offer. So this doesn’t happen to buyers.
I would suggest and accept any help from buyers or sellers in this group.
Can I put a stop payment with my bank on the second payment?
I can let my bank know this is a mistake and that I want my account credited for the $48 from eBay.
I don’t have this money in my account to pay for both frames.
I just want the second seller to cancel my order. Not spend money and time shipping it to me knowing I will be returning it.
But like I said he is NOT RESPONDING to any of my messages.
ebay said to keep trying to contact the seller. That he has a responsibility to answer and respond to my texts.
How do I get him to answer me?
It looks like he is a big seller on eBay so one cancellation and credit should not be such a problem or big deal.

Most will, but sellers are not required to cancel orders.
If they don't cancel the order, not much you can do until you receive the item.
If the seller accepts returns, you can open a return request after you receive it.
