Can't pick item up

So this is only my second purchase I don't know much about navigating this platform , I recently bid on an item to them only notice the 'pickup ". Portion moments later I contacted the seller and asked what that meant and if he did shipping ? If not please cancel my bid it was my mistake I thought you were local. He replied that he doesn't do shipping and practically it's not his problem and has ingnored me ever  since ? ? He then just disappeared,running out the clock on the auction then after it's was closed responded back that he doesn't do shipping and he doesn't work there anymore or something?  I've offered to pay a large flat rate box.? But still nothing ? What do I do in this situation

Most sellers that list with Local Pickup do so because the item is either too heavy, or too much trouble to pack up and ship.  The seller could file a cancellation with the reason Problem with buyer's address.  That way, neither of you receive a defect on your accounts.  If the seller refuses to do that, s/he can file an Unpaid Item case on the 5th day, and that will record a strike on your account for non-payment.  One strike won't hurt you, but don't get another one.  Sellers can block buyers from bidding/purchasing their items if a buyer has 2 or more unpaid strikes.  That block will last for 12 months.
