I made a mistake when one of my items sold and clicked the item paid button instead of send invoice. No it's saying the item is paid but it's not. The buyer can't pay me and I can't even access the shipping page. When I tried that ebay says item not paid and for me to wait for payment. I have been trying to contact ebay for a week and they will not return my call. The only thing I have been able to do is converse with the idiot AI set up they have. I may as well talk to a tree as to try and make a computer understand what I'm talking about. With the amount of money ebay makes you would think they could at least hire someone who knows how to set up a website.

-Message the Buyer and ask them if they will message you to cancel the transaction. When they message you back agreeing you can cancel using the reason "Buyer requested". No strike on your account doing it that way.
-Next, Relist the item and have the Buyer place the starting bid, you can then End the listing selling to them and sending them an invoice for payment.

@generalstore1 Adding another option to @mr_lincoln 's advice for anyone reading this in the future...
First there is no reason to send an invoice unless you are combining shipping or offering a shipping upgrade at the buyers request.
You can cancel as buyer hasn't paid on the 5th day after the close of sale OR the date of the last invoice. This gives the non paying buyer a strike on their account.
As for the accidentally marking as paid you should have been able to go to the same drop down menu and select mark as NOT paid.
