Buying American made k series items and seller is from China. How is it that American made product

I thought I was ordering moog k series parts that are made in the USA but the seller is in China? How's that work exactly? Is this fraud is this counterfeit parts passing off as moog k series made in North America and USA but seller is in China? Looks fishy to me and if so I want my money back
