I've not done much with eBay; only sold and purchased a couple items. Haven't used it recently, but trying to sell an auction item, twice now a different winning bidder cancelled an order with it being 'an accidental bid', or the other claiming 'they didn't think they placed a bid'. The most recent sent me a shipping address after requesting the sale be cancelled which I fully expected was a scam. Should these be reported or just accept and repost for sale? Any insights or advice would be appreciated. Thx.

Scammers come and go so there is no need to report.
A new seller is a target for scammers. Try listing your item as a Buy It Now with Immediate payment required. That will eliminate nonpayers.

If the buyer has not paid by day 4, on day 5 the seller can file a Cancellation with the reason Buyer didn't pay. The seller gets his/her FVF credited, the buyer gets an unpaid strike recorded on his account, no one can leave feedback. Two or more unpaid strikes, and the buyer will find it difficult to bid/buy from sellers who block buyers with 2 or more unpaid strikes. Do you have your Buyer Blocks in place?

As a new seller, you are ripe for scammers. List as fixed price with Immediate Payment Required (you will need to switch to the advanced/business tool for that option, which is located in the upper right corner of the Quick Listing Tool), no Best Offers, and your listing will stay active until someone actually pays for the item.

Thx! I'll try that.

Thx. I will try the Buy Now and Immediate Payment option. I wasn't familiar with the Immediate Payment Option.
