Buyer wants to cancel order but it’s complicated

Hello,

so I had someone buy my PlayStation 4 pro I’m selling and then decided after I could ship it this Friday he wanted to cancel the order.

 
he said he found a cheaper option yet this was after I said I would only be able to ship it Friday. Which eBay says it needs to be shipped by Friday 11:59pm pacific time which I would ship it in the morning. 

We argued for a bit and I caved in saying I’ll cancel it but when I do so it brings up the refund review and says I would have the funds deducted from my account and I would have to cover the rest of the fees myself.

Which I see as completely unfair so what should I do?

You have to provide the funds for the refund, but then eBay will release the original payment to you.  Since the cancellation is buyer requested, all of the fees will be reversed.  No one likes it, but that is how the process works.

Welp they requested through message not like an actual form or notification. Am I screwed? Had to spend $185 total, $17 of my own money from bank account.
