Hi,
How do I report someone for sending a message that violates the eBay policies (providing personal contact info to initiate a transaction outside of eBay)??
I listed an item for local pick-up only.
A user messaged me and asked for selling price (obviously listed), was it still available (again, obvious in the listing), and would I contact him via phone (providing his number in a format to not be caught by eBay monitoring tools). I suspect this was sent via a bot.
I tried to report them, but cannot since the item has not yet sold, and they were not a buyer of any of my listings.
How do I report someone for sending a message that violates the eBay policies when they have not purchased a listing??
Thanks,
M

Open this Help page on Member to member contact
Scroll to the bottom and Click on "Contact us"
In the Help Chatbox that opens type AGENT at the bottom then press Send to bypass the bots
You should get the options to Chat live with an agent, or have them call you.
