Buyer hasn’t paid.

Why do I have to wait 4 days to cancel the order. Customer hasn’t responded to any messages and is keeping me from having my item listed.

Buyer hasn’t paid.

You have to wait four days since that is eBay's policy and has been for many years.

Buyers have four full days (96 hours) to pay for their items.  If they do not pay within the four full days then on the fifth full day you can cancel their purchase.  To do this you find the item on your sold item list and from the drop down menu you select cancel purchase.  Make sure to use the reason "Buyer has not paid" as this gets your final value fee refunded and the buyer receives an unpaid item strike on their account.  This reason option will not show up until four full days have passed so if you do not see it then you are too early to cancel the purchase.
