Buyer claims faulty item days later, and while using faulty item (DVD)

I have a buyer who is claiming that a DVD he received a while ago is skipping.  He states that he is using a gaming console to watch.  Any research will show that gaming consoles are notorious for scratching or skipping a DVD, since they don't have that protective coating that games do.

The item was sold used, but watched 1 time by me, no issues, on a DVD player.

I have asked him to watch on a DVD player but hasn't.

He wants a refund.  How am I protected by Ebay, or am I not?

He states that he is opening a case.

He has left positive feedback already.
