Contrary to what some have said, my phone was in my pocket and ‘buy it now’ is a one click action that caused a $200 purchase I didn’t want. My mistake. Seller wants to help but even though she has not shipped, ebay says it is, (yes it was more than an hour post purchase that I discovered the email confirmation in disbelief). It will not allow me to submit a cancel
request and seller is trying to avoid her fees being docked too. Is there any recourse without cost? I’ve also looked hard for a way to turn off ‘buy it now’ purchases and Ebay doesn’t seem to want to make the buying experience safer here either. Such a great
Platform but disappointed at how cold their process is in scenarios like mine. Any advice? At worst, I will need to pay her &25-$30 in fees- even if the ship label isn’t used?

The seller can cancel as buyer requested as long as she did not decline a cancellation request from you. Her final value fees are refunded if a full refund is issued.
If she printed a shipping label, she should void the label first, then cancel the transaction.
There is no such thing as a 1 click transaction on eBay. It takes at least 3 clicks, usually more - hit buy it now, go to checkout, confirm payment. (Even Amazon's 1 click really isn't 1 click anymore.)
