I purchased a set of flo tek heads from speedway motors paid over a thousand dollars for them put them on my motor and did good for a couple days re adjusting the valves and noticed a spring out of line contacted speedway motors they gave me the number for flotek contacted them and they said that the heads were assembled wrong and since I purchased through speedway_motors I would have to go through them so contacted speedway again and they said that ebay wouldn't allow them to help me all I can do is take the heads off the only vehicle I have and ship them back and once they received them they would mail me a check so I would be without a vehicle and have to wait over a month to get a refund so I could purchase a different set of heads. That isn't right the heads are defective and they admitted it I need help with this matter because this isn't right why can't they send me a new set of different heads and let me send the defective heads back then seems only right they should send me the gaskets to install the new heads as well since the heads are defective but they say ebay will not allow them to do the right thing someone explain this to me please

This is how a Returns Request works on ebay:
The easiest way is to go to your Purchase history, locate the item. You have 30 days from date of receipt. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. You will need to click on MORE to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. You print out the label, affix it to the box, and have the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund you within 2 days. If no refund, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
If the seller has a no returns policy, ebay's Money Back Guarantee trumps the seller's No Returns policy if the item never arrives, or it is Not as Described. The No Returns policy is only good for buyer's remorse: changed mind, didn't like it, doesn't fit, found it cheaper elsewhere. For those reasons, the seller can decline a return.
If it has been more than 30 days since receipt of the item, file a Returns Request with Paypal if that is how you paid. Paypal accepts cases within 180 days from the transaction. As a last resort, contact your credit card issuer if that is how you paid.

PayPal has changed the SNAD to thirty days of the date of delivery: https://www.paypal.com/us/cshelp/article/dispute-filing-timeframes-help1173

Thanks for the update. I rarely check Paypal for their changes.

Same here. I learned about it when PayPal sent me an email, out of the clear blue sky.
